At High Desert Hotels, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring out the passion and dedication in our teams. Happy associates' equal happy guests, which equal happy owners. That is our recipe for success. We have been successfully managing hotels since 2002. We currently manage select service Marriott, Best Western, Hilton, and Choice brands, as well as boutique hotels and lodges. Our current locations include Washington, Oregon, California, and Illinois. Our goal is to operate consistently successful hotels for the long term.

President / CEO
A native Oregonian, Amy started her hotel career 25+ years ago with Hilton. She began building and managing Marriott hotels in 2002. Amy and Ron developed High Desert Hotels and manage a full portfolio of properties.
VP of Operations
After moving to Bend, Ron assisted in the building and opening of the first two Marriott hotels, overseeing all FF& E and OS&E. He is certified through Marriott and Best Western in both General and Revenue Management.
Finance and Accounting
Russell graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in business. He brings 7 years of experience in Finance.
Regional Manager
Tina is a Regional Manager who boasts a wealth of experience across different facets of the hotel industry and particularly excels within the Best Western brand. Her journey began at a convention hotel in Springfield, OR, where she honed her skills in operations, revenue management, sales, customer service, and overall hotel management. Renowned for her outstanding communication abilities, Tina has garnered respect from both colleagues and clients. Her dedication to training and nurturing hotel teams has played a pivotal role in fostering high team morale and achieving remarkable levels of guest satisfaction.
Regional Manager
Belinda is a Regional Manager with a passion for the hospitality industry. She began her career at a limited-service hotel in Bend, Oregon, and later earned a Hospitality & Tourism Management certification from Florida Atlantic University. Belinda's vast experience with several hotel brands makes her a valuable team member of High Desert Hotels. Belinda excels in various areas such as operations, revenue management, strategy analysis, project management, customer service, and interpersonal communication. She takes pride in equipping her teams with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in today's competitive market.
Regional Manager
Lacy exemplifies a profound devotion to the Marriott brand. She initiated her career in the hospitality industry as a front desk associate at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Redding, CA. Through unwavering dedication and hard work, she rapidly ascended the ranks to General Manager. Currently, Lacy assumes the vital position of Regional Manager, overseeing three properties within High Desert Hotels. Her extensive knowledge and expertise in the Marriott brand have earned her the title of "Marriott Guru." Lacy is responsible for supervising two Marriott properties and one Hilton property ensuring that her teams are current with the latest brand standards.
Director of Business Operations
Keri's passion for hospitality was sparked during her tenure at Celebrity Cruise Lines. She subsequently earned a degree in Hospitality Management and joined Hilton, where she excelled in a variety of roles and later explored the world of independent hotels expanding her skills and knowledge of hospitality management. Keri's achievements are attributable to her innovative thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and genuine empathy for others. She is enthusiastic about leveraging her diverse skill set to support our organization's growth and advancement.
Human Resources Manager
Throughout her career, Dannica has been deeply involved in the realm of Human Resources. With years of practical experience, she has refined her skills through close collaboration with businesses nationwide. Along this journey, she navigated through the complexities of regulations and addressed challenging issues as they arose. Her passion lies in creating environments where every individual can thrive. She believes that Human Resources is not just about following the rules; it's about cultivating a culture that nurtures growth and fosters success.
Payroll Specialist & HR Coordinator
Lori who has become well known for her technical savvy skills, dedication to quality, the ability to strengthen morale, reduce expenditures, and dramatically improve compliance is exactly what she does for our organization. With several years of experience in the human resource/payroll field primarily in the manufacturing and retail background, Lori decided to jump into the hospitality industry to bring her level of expertise to a multi-faceted and complex industry of multi-brand and multi state infrastructures.
Multi-Property Sales Manager
Elizabeth (Liz) has harbored a passion for hospitality from an early age, aspiring to become a hospitality specialist. Her journey commenced at the age of 17 with an international hotel company, laying the foundation for her career. Upon relocating to the United States in 2013, she eagerly embraced the American Hospitality Market. With a specialization in events and catering sales, and over a decade in the industry, Liz boasts extensive expertise within the Marriott brand. Most recently, she and her family have established roots in Oregon, having relocated from Westminster, Colorado. Beyond her professional pursuits, Liz dedicates her time to volunteer work as the Programming Chair for a Portland-based organization catering to young professionals. Here, her focus revolves around fostering community through social events, educational programs, and philanthropic initiatives within an inclusive environment.
Corporate Chief Engineer
Brandon started his career in hotels at the Holiday Inn in Yakima, WA as a busser, working his way up in a variety of positions, Brandon found his passion in the maintenance and engineering department. After joining The Hotel Y within the High Desert Hotels portfolio, Brandon offered his skills to assist the company by traveling to different hotel locations to help with special projects. Brandon loves a challenge and is determined to find the solution when something goes wrong. In his position as the Corporate Chief Engineer, Brandon coaches all our maintenance departments with training, intense projects guidance and learning new safety measures.
Director of Development & Acquisitions
Scott brings a wealth of knowledge in his 25 years of experience in hospitality, development and finance.
